POUG2024 CONFERENCE: New chapter, new venue, new formula!

A new chapter
We made this decision last November. We wanted to serve you the highest quality experience with no technical issues and say goodbye to the pandemic times. This is why, we are resigning from the online version of our conference. Only on-site spots from now on with yearly access to our recordings. Recordings will be also available to purchase separately for those of you who can't join us on-site.

A new venue
For the first time in the POUG history, we're gonna organize our event in Poznań! We can't wait to show you this spot - it's an old printing house in a vibrant area, not to mention it's very close to the main train station;)

A new formula
Be ready not only for three classic, POUG-style tracks but also an additional lab track.
Prepare your set of AWR or statspack reports to analyze them together with the ORA-600 team - we are preparing the new analytics tool (together with fellow SYM42 members, like data science master, Gianni Ceresa) to support DBAs and DEVs in performance analyses! Useful charts and recommendations for free! If you are afraid of security measures, parse your AWR or STATSPACK reports with JAS-MIN (https://github.com/ora600pl/jas-min) and bring only JSON format stripped from all potentially problematic data.

And this is only the first of the set of labs you will meet in our special lab room. Prepare for a lot of fun and practical knowledge. 

So yes, many new features (not bugs!!) this year, but there are things that will never change. The quality of sessions. The atmosphere. The beer.
